CWA Local 1183 represents approximately 900 active employees of the New York City Board of Elections (BOE), workers whose daily labor safeguards the integrity of New York City’s democratic process. From maintaining voter registration records and preparing ballots, to recruiting and training poll workers, servicing voting equipment, and supporting poll sites across the five boroughs, our members ensure that elections are fair, accurate, and accessible to all New Yorkers.
